Open Access Policy

The journal Prospecting and Development of Oil and Gas Fields adheres to the principles of free dissemination of scientific knowledge. All materials published in the journal are available to readers without financial or technical restrictions immediately upon publication. No publication or access fees are charged.

Principles of accessibility

  • Articles published in the journal remain in open access permanently and without limitation.
  • Anyone may read, download, store, and share the full texts without prior permission from the Editorial Office.
  • This approach is in line with global standards of open science and complies with the principles of the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI).

Licensing and user rights

All materials are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) licence, which permits:

  • free reproduction and distribution of content in any form;
  • the creation of derivative works, translations, and adaptations;
  • the use of research results for educational, scholarly, and commercial purposes.

The only requirement is proper attribution to the original article, including the DOI and a reference to the licence. If the text has been modified or adapted, this must be clearly indicated. The journal does not endorse or take responsibility for the way the material is reused.

Authors’ rights

Authors retain all proprietary and moral rights to their work. They are free to:

  • reuse their articles in their own research;
  • deposit the texts in repositories, on personal pages, or on institutional websites;
  • employ the materials in educational and scientific projects.

The journal holds only the non-exclusive right of first publication and ensures distribution through international databases.

Archiving and indexing

To secure the long-term preservation of scientific works, the journal archives all publications in its own electronic repository and supports their indexing in international databases and search engines. This enhances the visibility of research and promotes its integration into the global scientific community.
