The journal employs a range of technical and organisational measures to guarantee permanent and uninterrupted access to the materials hosted on its servers. In particular, these include:

• regular back-ups of all publications and databases;
• systematic monitoring of the technical infrastructure to promptly address risks related to potential file format changes or outdated software;
• use of digital preservation metadata to ensure the accuracy and stability of content reproduction in the future;
• assignment of unique Digital Object Identifiers (DOI) to each article for reliable identification and long-term citation.

These measures are designed to maintain high standards of digital preservation and are consistent with international requirements for safeguarding scholarly content.

In addition, the journal stores its metadata in Institutional repository of Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas and the V. I. Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine.

The journal follows the recommendations of LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) and CLOCKSS to preserve electronic content and to guarantee the restoration of access to materials in the event of technical failures.

All published articles remain in open access permanently and cannot be removed from the archive. In cases where an article is retracted, the full text remains accessible with clear labelling and an explanation of the reasons for retraction.
